Candle Making at Pennoweth School

10/7/2015

After making the beeswax candles and tallow candles, that night I did my homework by candlelight.  I was quite excited and it felt great even though it was quite hard to see.  I imagined that I was living at the time of William Murdoch before he invented gas light. Although there were some shadows, there was quite a bit of light. However, it was quite hard to see.  I imagine it would have been quite difficult. I felt so proud that I did it and it was an amazing experience!
